	I'm buying a car soon, and thinking about what to get. The Mazda Protege caught my eye this afternoon. Have y'all heard anything (good or bad) about these?

I love them. We had one and I LOVED IT. The handling is great, the gas milage beats a slightly older toyota, and they're just cute. We had a 2003, and it was adorable. We also have a mazda van, which I also love...well, not so much the van-ny-ness of it, but i just like the way they feel. they're a small car that doesn't feel like a tin-can, and actually feels like it has some power behind it (although i have no idea what kind of power they actually have). highly recommended, i've only had good experiences with Mazdas.
